Seeing spots

Oh man, life is crazy of late. I've totally lost my blogging mojo, but unfortunately not my spending habit. I seem to have a delivery from ASOS at least once a week of late. Must stop spending!

These jeans are amazing, so I had to share. Also I have to share the fact that I am a tart and blatantly showing off my bra at work. Shame on me. I'm a manager now too. Not professional at all (and I don't give a monkey's).

These jeans are the perfect skinny for me. Comfy, very skinny, they don't sag and they stay up! They have just the right amount of stretch to accommodate my thighs and I love the colour. I may have to buy several more pairs for when they disintegrate. I sized up since they are Super Skinny and the fit is perfect!

I had to size up in the blouse as well to accommodate my backside and it's still a bit tight around the nethers, but I can live with that. There's something I really like about the prim and proper style of blouse and the total sheerness of it...

Actually there appears to have been a bit of sizing up going on in this post... maybe I'm not sizing up in clothes and I've just actually sized up??

Ooh and I should mention the bra, as that is a bit saucy too... although it does give me the oddest shape, it looks good under sheer clothes with the straps.

The quest for the slouchy jumper continues

I have this vision in my head of the perfect jumper. I cannot find it anywhere. It needs to be long, oversized and have a lowish neckline so it doesn't appear too frumpy. It feels like it should be an easy quest, but it is not. It's become an obsession.

This number, from H&M is probably the closest I've come so far. I bought it in grey and black and I've worn  both a lot. My only gripe with it is the length, I'd just like a bit more of it. Oh and the neckline is a bit high.

I am obsessed with Red Boots at the moment!

Tell me people - do you have any idea where I can find my perfect jumper?

Magnificent 7th - Leopard

I say this every month, but seriously, this year is completely flying by. So, another month, another  Maginficent 7th. This time the theme is Leopard.

I have a lot of leopard in my wardrobe, but I think most of it has featured here at some point already. Since I'm a bit stuck in a rut at the moment with my wardrobe - seriously, same theme every day, I thought I'd continue in that vein. Jeans? Check. Vest top? Check. Cardigan? Check.

Yawn.

This top is old from Primani, the jeans have featured before. I love them but they are just a bit too baggy for my liking. I have contemplated buying the smaller size, but that seems a tad OTT. Maybe if they go in the sale. I sized up since they don't have stretch but they are very much like clown pants on me.

Autumn uniform

Can we talk about the weather? It should be a bit chilly and it's not. It's playing havoc with my wardrobe as I just can't get my temperature right, I'm expecting cold and it's anything but.

I seem to have adopted an autumn uniform - Jeans, boots, vest & a cardigan. Not overly thrilling, right? But some outfits just feel good and these are 2 of them. Nothing amazing or fashion worthy really, although I very much seem to have a penchant for wearing see-through tops with very colourful bra's on show for work. I think I'm rebelling against being one of the boys.

These maternity jeans are my all time favourite ever. They are skinny, don't sag and have the comfiest waist band ever (not over the bump style) but sadly they no longer do them. I need to find some alternatives when these become thread bare. Any suggestions?

The Magnificent 7th - Polka Dot

7th October, already? Where on earth has this year gone.

So this months theme is Polka dot. I have a massive love for all things Polka dot and I expected to find a plethora of items in my wardrobe. This was not the case.... However, I did find this forgotten skirt hidden in the depths. I've not really worn it that much as it goes a bit white when stretched over my thighs, but with a longer top, it actually felt ok. I was dressed for Autumn today and was positively roasting - pleather jacket and sun is not ideal.

Excuse my tired face and crap quality photo's, I'm recovering from a weekend spent in bed with a bad cold and this was after a full day of work. I need to take photo's during day light to avoid having the glare of the hall light making me look haunted.

Ooh and check out our new wallpaper - isn't it amazing?? Yes, it's dog print.

Life lately

I've been a tad rubbish  at this old blogging of late. Life is mental, but I've been shopping like there's no tomorrow so I have lots of new clothes. I'm now enforcing a spending ban on myself for fear of bankruptcy.

I found a load of photo's (of dubious quality) on my phone so I may as well share some of my most recent purchases.

I've so many pairs of these jersey peg trousers from ASOS, they are the most comfy things ever. Like wearing PJ's for work.

These jeans from Junarose are my absolute favourite jeans at the moment. I've worn them to death since they arrived. I'm considering buying more jeans from them as the quality is amazing.

This peplum top is really pretty, I've worn it on a night out without the vest underneath, but it's very sheer, so a no go for work like that :)

My quest for a slouchy fit jumper continues, I really want an oversized yet flattering jumper, but I'm really struggling to find such a thing. This one from Carmakoma is pretty good, but a bit more fitted than I wanted. Maybe I should have sized up. If anyone knows of anywhere selling oversized knits, please let me know!

Magnificent 7th - Animal

We will be posting on the 7th of each month, and the aim of the challenge is to create an outfit to fit the theme, using clothes from our wardrobes, and yes that does mean digging deep into the depths and finding those long lost clothes! Hopefully one of us won’t end up in Narnia, but you never know with a bloggers wardrobe!

This is a bit of a cop out. I have much more animal print in my wardrobe, but I'm currently on holiday in Cornwall and none of that aforementioned animal print is with me.... So....I've had to improvise with some photos I took the other day and didn't post! Thankfully I wore some animal print without really thinking about it...

Now, these jeans are amazing, but probably a little bit on the tight side for me. I seem to be a totally in between size in jeans, they either hang off me or they are skin tight. However, they are pretty awesome and look pretty darn good, even if I do say so myself. I'll put up with a bit of tighness for an awesome pair of jeans.

Ripped jeans, skin was showing

I've not done any shopping for a while, which meant I had a massive splurge on ASOS on Wednesday, the plan was to order a load of stuff and send most of it back. Yeah that didn't happen, I'm keeping the lot. Clever. Expect a few more posts soon with my other purchases.

Anyway, these jeans. There's something a bit hideous about them, but I love them. I've never really been a fan of light coloured denim on account of my thunder thighs, but sometimes you can make an exception.

I've kept it simple with a black top and cardigan and my favourite bright pink pumps. I've also matched my bra to my shoes, cos I'm stylish like that.

These jeans are really quite ripped, I'm probably sporting a but much flesh for work, but that's nothing new.

Magnificent 7th - BBQ

It's been another month, I am getting useless at posting lately, work is crazy which doesn't help. I've had quite a few purchases of late so I need to get back into the swing of things.

This month's theme is BBQ. Now I've not been to a single BBQ this year, that's criminal. However, if I had, I'd be wearing something like this.

Now clearly I am not outside enjoying a hamburger or two, I'm in my office which is mostly definitely not as appealing, but try to picture the scene :)

I've had these jeans for a few months now along with the lighter version and they have been a wardrobe staple this summer. I love the fact you can dress them up with shoes or wear with flip flops or converse for a totally relaxed look.

The shoes are another firm favourite and the top was a bargain in the recent ASOS sale. It's see-through, which is not very office appropriate, but I don't get too concerned about that sort of stuff. Plus, I'm pretending to be at a BBQ, right?

Throw on a cardigan for when it gets colder and I'm good to go.

Magnificent 7th - Beach

We will be posting on the 7th of each month, and the aim of the challenge is to create an outfit to fit the theme, using clothes from our wardrobes, and yes that does mean digging deep into the depths and finding those long lost clothes! Hopefully one of us won’t end up in Narnia, but you never know with a bloggers wardrobe!

So, beach is this month's theme. Something I struggled with for years due to hatred of my legs and the dreaded 'chub rub'.  I recently did a post on holiday day wear here, and this is pretty much my staple when I am at the beach or pool.

Here is another recent example of what I wore in beautiful Santorini.

These geo print trousers are a lot baggier than other ASOS Curve ones I've had, they are pretty high waisted too. Like wearing your PJ's, really can't go wrong on holiday!

Oh how I wish I was still there.....
