Magnificent 7th - Beach

We will be posting on the 7th of each month, and the aim of the challenge is to create an outfit to fit the theme, using clothes from our wardrobes, and yes that does mean digging deep into the depths and finding those long lost clothes! Hopefully one of us won’t end up in Narnia, but you never know with a bloggers wardrobe!

So, beach is this month's theme. Something I struggled with for years due to hatred of my legs and the dreaded 'chub rub'.  I recently did a post on holiday day wear here, and this is pretty much my staple when I am at the beach or pool.

Here is another recent example of what I wore in beautiful Santorini.

These geo print trousers are a lot baggier than other ASOS Curve ones I've had, they are pretty high waisted too. Like wearing your PJ's, really can't go wrong on holiday!

Oh how I wish I was still there.....

Flash the flesh - swimwear

When a group of bloggers join together for a chat you know that the final result has to be super!! And so this happened once more when, a few days ago, we were talking about our preferences between mini and maxi and Becky thought that it would be great to create a challenge which goal was to show a little bit more skin and our body (but with style and no vulgarity) showing proudly our curves. And so it was born “Flash the Flesh”.

This month's theme is swimwear. Now having been on holiday twice since April, I should have numerous bikini pics, but I can't find any decent ones. I'm either squinting or looking bedraggled so we'll have to make do with my boudoir and my new swimming costume.

Given I'll happily wander around on holiday in all my glory, I can't overly say posting these photos stresses me too much. My legs are awful, but they are what they are. I'd like them to be thinner, but they've always been a problem area for me and I'm kind of accepting of them now.
